New: cross-service applications

Applications Dashboard

One unified inbox for applications you've sent and applications you've received — across 8 services on the platform (Startup Hub, Open Admission, Hire Me, Jobs, Freelancing, Edu News, Study Rooms, Events). Apply with one click, get accept/reject decisions in real time, and chat directly once accepted, without juggling profiles or sending CVs.

Looking for institution applications? EDU Matrix Hub has its own dedicated apply system at /edu-matrix-hub/my-applications.

How applying works

Wherever you see the Apply button on a post card (the post creator enabled it), tap it to open a one-field popup. Write a short message explaining why you want to apply— that's it. No CV, no résumé.

Your full profile (skills, education, work experience, certifications, languages) is automatically shared with the post creator. That's the whole point of having a unified profile — you fill it in once, and every application uses it.

Receiving applications on your own posts

When you create a post in any of the supported services, you'll see an Accept applications toggle in the create form. It's on by default, so the cross-service Apply button appears automatically — flip it off if you don't want to receive applications on that post.

Everyone who applies shows up under Received in your dashboard. From there you can review each applicant's profile, accept or reject them, and open a chat with the people you accept.

You can flip the toggle off at any time — existing applications stay, but no new ones can come in.

Chat after acceptance

The instant a receiver accepts an application, a private chat is opened between the applicant and the post creator inside the regular Messenger (with read receipts, typing indicators, media — the same chat you already know). You'll see an Open chatbutton on the application detail page and in the receiver's dashboard.

Chat is only available for accepted applications. Rejected and withdrawn applications can't start a conversation.

You were accepted. A private chat with the post creator is unlocked from the application detail page.

FAQ

Why don't I see the Apply button on a post?
Applications are on by default, so most posts show the Apply button. If it's missing, the post creator turned the "Accept applications" toggle off for that post, the post is closed, or you're viewing your own post.
Can I edit my application after sending it?
No. You can withdraw a pending application and your profile will update automatically next time the receiver views it. Once accepted or rejected the application is final.
Where do I see notifications when something happens?
The notification bell in the navbar updates in real time when an application is received, accepted, rejected, or withdrawn — and when a chat is opened after acceptance.
